The latest resources from satsearch
Welcome to your latest update from satsearch - the global marketplace for space.
As you may have seen, in our last email we announced the launch of?the Space Engineering Resource Hub , a new collection of 70+ open resources for engineers, across 15 different space technology categories.
We mentioned at the time that this is an ongoing project; we want to create the best store of space engineering knowledge to help accelerate missions all across the world.
And so today I'm happy to share with you an overview of the latest updates and new resources that went live in the past few weeks. We hope you find them useful - and if you have any questions, or suggestions, please let us know .
We published a new resource sharing details of satellite transport containers available on the global market. It also explains how they are typically used and the key criteria to keep in mind when selecting a container for your next project.
We produced a new resource on MMUs for space systems discussing the applications and characteristics of this technology. It also includes information on commercially-available units on the international market.
This existing overview was updated to reflect the latest changes in the CMG market. While it is a technology still in its infancy for smaller satellites, CMGs have the potential to provide high levels of torque in lower volumes than reaction wheels, although usually with higher mass and power budgets.
Produced with satsearch Trusted Supplier Acktar , this case study takes a look at how the correct thermal balance can be maintained in space with advanced instrument coatings. It discusses real missions in which Acktar has been involved and shares testing data demonstrating coating performance.
We also updated our popular overview of satellite structures on the market to better reflect current supply. This piece features guidance on selecting the best frame for your mission and details a large number of options from the global supply chain.
By enabling precise, discrete angular control, stepper motors can bring enhanced precision and utility to space applications. In this new resource we share an overview of models available on the market and discuss how to select a system for a mission.
We also released a new and exclusive free resource for new email signups. This PDF download is an insider's guide to the industry, based on our work helping more than 400 mission teams around the world source over 10,000 different components, systems, and services. Please join our public mailing list to get your copy now .
Finally, we shared a new short video this week giving just a little flavor of what we do for space engineers around the world. Check it out here on YouTube !
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed today's email. If you have any questions or comments please hit reply and let us know at [email protected] - we read and respond to every email we receive.

The reason for this is that not every mailing list subscriber follows this LinkedIn newsletter, and vice versa, so we like to give maximum value to our audience by sharing it with as many people as possible).
