?Sana y Segura, the Project Promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health among Mexican Women

As part of the "Sana y Segura” project, the Pro Mujer team, in partnership with Medical Impact, conducted five awareness-raising sessions on sexual and reproductive health, during which they provided totally free subdermal contraceptive implants to women in the state of Hidalgo. Read more.

? Mujer Segura: Eradicating Gender-Based Violence Is an Urgent Obligation

In 2023, Gender-Based Violence claimed the lives of more than 81 women in Bolivia. Aiming to eradicate this dire issue, Pro Mujer's Mujer Segura program seeks to join efforts to assist women facing this situation, to break the cycle of violence, and to bet on raising awareness among the Bolivian population.

? Pro Mujer Achieves Leader Category in the Women’s Empowerment Principles Evaluation

The Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) are key practices that promote gender equality in all areas of an organization's management. This initiative, promoted by UN Women in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact, suggests conducting a self-assessment of current policies and programs, and Pro Mujer obtained the highest category (LEADER) in three countries: Mexico, Bolivia, and Guatemala.
