The bill, called the Virtual Currency Tax Fairness Act, would exempt citizens from reporting any transactions up to $50 or any trade less than $50, CoinDesk?reported?Tuesday (July 26). Sens. Patrick Toomey and Kyrsten Sinema are behind the bill.

Furthermore, the International Money Fund (IMF) said Tuesday that it doesn’t think crypto market collapses are indicative of dire danger for the global economy.

“Spillovers to the broader financial system have been limited so far,” the IMF said in its?report. That said, the IMF noted that the world economy, facing record inflation and the specter of another recession just years after the last one, is still not doing well.

Bridging the Gap Between Blockchains and Building the Gateway to Web 3.0 and Metaverse: A Meta Talkz with Felix Asuncion

What was your journey like to get where you are?

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backward.” Our journey at Tetrix is like the film, “The Avengers.” The founding team met diversely; Emman Navalan, Ralph Acabado, and Felix Asuncion met during the pandemic while playing MMORPG Game. Martin Adorable met Emman through a friend he also met in the game. Michael Pe started his gym business, where he met Felix Asuncion. During the pandemic, Atty. Sheine Girao also co-founded an organization with Felix Asuncion, where they helped startup businesses rise up in the new normal. Emman then met Atty. Sheine through Felix when they discussed the legal parameters relevant to Tetrix. As we look backward, everything happens with a purpose. That purpose serves our mission and vision to bridge the gap in all blockchains, users, communities, and enterprises.

In a simpler phrase, what is your company exactly doing?

TETRIX, is an interconnected ecosystem that aims to bridge the gap among all blockchain projects. TETRIX’s mission is to open the doors to and enable a future where there is accelerated mass adoption of digital ownership to elevate the world’s consciousness through blockchain technology, literacy, and real-life applications of Web 3.0. We provide a WordPress-like development of blockchains and applications. We also recently launched Pitaka, a crypto wallet that allows users to store, manage and exchange various cryptocurrencies and digital assets in one simple browser extension.

What about Metaverse are you most excited for in the future?

Metaverse is another step from the web we have today. It’s the evolution from the hyperlinks and basic texts. With this technology, we are now able to interact with people and data on a platform without traveling. I’m most excited about the mass adoption, especially with the businesses. This will provide a great opportunity and another level of experience to people and to companies to further grow their businesses. Metaverse is not about replacing what we have today, but about enhancing and enabling them.

Why should we be paying attention to the Metaverse?

Metaverse will have a lasting impact on our future. be ready for the change that’s going to happen in the years to come. AR and VR are only part of what this technology can offer, expect great innovations and opportunities in this transition into digital space. Don’t think of the technology and norms we have today, but think of the possibilities that we can improve in our daily lives.
