Registration is now open for the TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics Symposium

Registration is now open for the first Symposium by the TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics (TACT).

To celebrate 15 years of successful TACT meetings?we will run our very first symposium: “Developing Therapies in Rare Neuromuscular Disease,” on the 31st of October at the downtown Hyatt Regency in Boston. This symposium promises a day filled with insightful talks, reflecting on the wealth of knowledge gleaned over the past 15 years of TACT’s operation.

TREAT-NMD 2025 Conference – Call for Poster Abstracts

TREAT-NMD’s 8th International conference on translational medicine in inherited neuromuscular diseases runs from February 6th to 8th, 2025, in Dubai, with a key objective of sharing progress in translational medicine and plan for future therapies.

As part of the conference we will be hosting a poster exhibition and would like to invite academics, researchers, patient organisations, advocates, industry, government agencies, and healthcare professionals to submit a poster abstract that will be displayed as part of the exhibition.

Abstracts can be submitted through the designated portal on the TREAT-NMD website. Detailed instructions and submission guidelines are available on the conference website here


IN REVIEW: TREAT-NMD Masterclass Event 2024 – Dubai, 13th – 15th May

Between 13th – 15th May, the Education team hosted our first ever educational event for healthcare professionals and allied health providers in the MENA region.? This is an exciting addition to our Education Programme and a goal the TREAT-NMD Education Committee (TEC) set out to achieve some time ago to provide a high-quality educational opportunity for colleagues working in the neuromuscular field in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Masterclass Event consisted of three masterclasses:? Gene Therapy, Spinal muscular atrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.? Each masterclass featured sessions dedicated to the most up to date information on diagnosis, the patient and parent perspective, and standards of care as well as emerging therapies.?

As the Project Manager, you’ll oversee the implementation of scientific projects within the neuromuscular disease (NMD) space . Projects include the delivery of aggregate data enquiries and more complex data driven projects utilising TREAT-NMD’s Global Registry Network. In addition, as part of the PMO, you will be expected to manage internal business projects such as accreditation and governance projects.
