Happy August, everyone!

Well, the summer has flown by, as it always seems to do.

Your children may be heading back to school, and you may be squeezing in that last vacation. Of course I’m here to encourage you to savor every last moment and capture the memories, stories, pictures, and any art you or your children may create. Every little thing adds up to a beautiful bigger picture and story.

Here at Bumble Beezus Books, we’ve been hard at work “reworking” a few things. I, Helen, (and Beezus at my feet here) have always heard that you will have to adjust and possibly rebrand a time or two until you get find that sweet spot. It took living it to really understand all the implications of those words. Let’s just say I get it now. And theories vary, but I think that the “sweet spot” is always evolving to the customers’ needs.

The past two or three months, I’ve taken some positive moves in the direction I want to steer my business and hopefully have clarified any costumer confusion by (1) overhauling my website, (2) broadening my market past just “children’s publishing,” and (3) adding a collaborative Workshop that involves a group coming together and creating the story and artwork together based off of preselected titles.

So, what does all this mean? My website ( www.bumblebeez.us ) is 100 percent more navigable and clear as to what I offer. Oh, and it looks pretty cool too (props to Squeeze Marketing).

I have services for children and adults. Check out the website to read more about the educational, camp, and party services for children, or the bridal, baby, and girls’ night out services for adults.

Our traditional Buzz It package is still around as well. Gather your materials, and select the package that best suits your needs. Voila! You have a storybook.

And last but not least, our first book to be released on Amazon, Bumble Beezus, is now for sale. This is our flagship book that tells the story of a simple, tiny puppy who snuggled her way into a gap in a girl’s life. We are thrilled to have Bumble Beezus in six retail locations in the Charleston area.

We certainly have more books in the pipeline and can’t wait to share them very soon.

Please reach out with any questions, comments, or inquiries—we’d love to hear from you!
