Hello, and welcome to my Latest in Metaverse, Web3 and NFTs newsletter.
The year seems to be coming to an end, but the momentum in this wonderful space is still at full power.
In this edition of my newsletter, learn how to join in on the holiday spirit with a fun NFT Secret Santa, a new Amazon documentary about tokenisation, and much more!
So, without further ado, let's dive right in!
Give an NFT - Get an NFT: Join a global NFT Secret Santa with Santa.FM
Recently launched by the VenturePunk web3 studio, Santa.FM is an NFT gift exchange protocol led by Jordan Lyall.?
Here's how it works, until 24 December at 10 PM (PST), people can deposit NFTs into Santa.FM's gift pool, then on Christmas Day, you can redeem an equivalent amount of new NFTs from the pool. To avoid spam submissions, Santa.FM will only accept NFTs from collections that are verified on OpenSea. To get the ball rolling, the team at Venture Punk kickstarted the pool by adding a few select NFTs. Before the actual gift exchange, users will be able to view all the deposited NFTs in the pool
What a cool way to spread the holiday feeling in the space!

NFTMe is currently released in the US and the UK, but according to the production company, it will be released in the rest of the world in 2023.
What are Family-friendly NFTs?
As Web3 tools and features become integrated into our everyday lives in web2, the creation of family-friendly NFTs starts to become something to pay attention to.?
Recently, well-known entertainment companies such as Disney have started to include web3 natives in their workforce and have begun investigating the space, creating partnerships with blockchain network Polygon.
There are surely many great things that can arise from this, but not without its challenges as we are dealing with minors… it's definitely an area to pay attention to soon, and raises a lot of questions about what digital property means when a minor is involved and what exactly constitutes a kid-friendly NFT…
