The impact of on-demand interpreting in Royal Perth Hospital

Our client, Royal Perth Hospital, has been enhancing language access for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) patients with the help of our 2M lingo interpreting app on iPads, Larry and Luna. The staff at Royal Perth Hospital have been utilising Larry and Luna to engage NAATI-certified health interpreters, ensuring that patients receive clear and inclusive communication in their language during their visits. This innovative approach not only improves patient understanding and satisfaction but also fosters a more inclusive healthcare environment. ?

With on-demand and scheduled access to professional health interpreters, our client is setting a new standard for language support in healthcare, empowering CALD patients to engage fully in their care.?

Elevating voices: highlights from FECCA Conference 2024

We recently had the privilege of attending and exhibiting at the FECCA Conference 2024, where we showcased our language services and Language AI to a diverse array of participants. The event highlighted the critical role of effective communication in fostering understanding across cultures. One of the key themes was the integration of Language AI in multilingual settings, which is revolutionising how we approach language access. Attendees were particularly excited about the potential of safe and responsible Language AI to enhance access to essential services and information. Our discussions emphasised the importance of combining human expertise with advanced technology to ensure accurate and nuanced communication. It was inspiring to see so many professionals committed to improving language access and creating inclusive environments for all.?
