As 2024 draws to a close, we're reflecting on another successful year of innovation, collaboration, and growth. To celebrate, we hosted an End-of-Year Party in our Melbourne office that brought together our clients, linguists, and partners. Applications now open for the Interpreter Employment Success Program

The Interpreter Employment Success Program (IESP) is an Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland initiative, delivered in collaboration with 2M Language Services, and SSI, funded through the Workforce Connect Fund, powered by Queensland Government's Good people. Good jobs: Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022-2032. The program focuses on meeting the growing demand for professional interpreters in Queensland.

Who can apply?

The IESP is open to Bilingual speakers who aspire for a professional interpreting career, current professional interpreters and client-facing workers who:

• Reside in Queensland,
• Speak English fluently and another language
• Are Australian Citizens or hold a visa that provides a pathway to Australian Citizenship (Temporary, Student and Holiday visas ineligible)

• Bilingual speakers: pursue a career in professional interpreting by developing foundational skills in interpreting.
• Current interpreters: remain at the forefront of the industry and gain NAATI PD points for recertification and discover new employment opportunities.
