Happy Pride!?

I think about what it means to embody the spirit of inclusivity, love and affirming the truth of who we are. I think of my own identity as a queer, Black woman who came out “later in life” and how that has deepened my worldview and the ever evolving image I have of myself. I think about what it means to be out in work spaces that are hostile and unwelcoming even if in subtle ways. I think about the erasure that continues to pervade our country and the hatred that grows every day. I think about the ways we continue to build communities steeped in trust, safety and care as tools that affirm our humanity and will allow the most vulnerable of us to thrive.?

But did you also know that June is Caribbean Heritage month? Ohhh we’re getting into it today!
