Lasting Legacy

I recently spoke with someone interested in starting a boutique fitness franchise. He was leaving a 25-year career in tech that frequently took him away from the most important people in his life, his family. Unfortunately, he wasn't as available to them as he liked.

As we talked, I learned that this type of franchise's cost and time commitment was not a good fit. I suggested a service-based franchise, which might help him realize his dream of multi-unit franchise ownership with the right manager in place.

After establishing his business, not only would he generate a revenue stream that exceeded his previous income, but he would also be free of his everyday grind of a 50 to 60-hour workweek that was making money for someone else.

He told me how thrilled he was with the level of support provided by the franchise and the chance to join a quickly growing, people-first organization.

He was also grateful for the decision to start a business and build a legacy for his family, which would produce something meaningful for all of them.

Almost everything has been done in terms of franchising. But every now and then, something fresh in franchising emerges, and when it does, I pay close attention.

I love these five things about this brand from a franchisee's perspective.

  • Fantastic software, technology, training, and support from the franchisor
  • B2B Model
  • The primary focus is a preventive business which can be equally high average job ticket and recurring revenue.
  • No franchise competition
  • This brand is for pavement, and pavement is an asset, and it's everywhere.

This brand exceeds all of the requirements I outlined above. Furthermore, it is a first-to-market franchise in a fast-growing industry.

There is a lot more I want to say about this brand that would be better saved for a conversation. I'm looking at my bullet points of why I like this brand, and I haven't even scratched the surface here.
