Energy:
The objectives of the SBIR/STTR programs include increasing private sector commercialization of technology developed through DOE-supported research and development (R&D), stimulating technological innovation in the private sector, encouraging participation by women-owned and minority-owned small businesses, and improving the return on investment from Federally funded research for economic and social benefits to the nation.
In summer 2024, MassCEC will post a Request for Proposals soliciting from eligible subawardees applications that align with the Massachusetts Program Narrative. Prior to the release of that RFP, MassCEC solicited feedback on draft guidelines for subawards and responded to all questions from stakeholders.
Environment:
The Forest Service is seeking proposals from qualified organizations/entities to conduct a current assessment, and review and identify emerging issues of the nation’s urban forest resources and the urban and community forestry programs and activities conducted by Federal and State agencies, nonprofit organizations, community and civic organizations and other interested parties across the country.
This FOA will consider applications that address science challenges that are within scope of the Atmospheric System Research (ASR), Earth and Environmental System Modeling (EESM), and Environmental System Science (ESS) sub programs.
The USRP funds projects and provides technical assistance to restore streams impacted by urban development to a more natural state. A major objective of the USRP is to bring people together around projects that foster community relationships while ensuring the community’s interests are incorporated into the project’s planning, design, and outcomes.
The overall objective of this funding opportunity is to support impactful, large marine debris removal projects that will improve the resilience of the coastal and marine environment.
Manufacturing:
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will provide funding to support: 1) Access to smart manufacturing technologies and high-performance computing (HPC) resources for small- and medium sized manufacturers (SMMs); and 2) The recycling of batteries and battery-containing devices to support the establishment of a robust domestic critical material supply chain for electric vehicle batteries.

Education and Research:
The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to solicit applications from eligible Tribal Groups or Incorporated American Indian Associations for grants to operate American Indian Education Centers (AIEC).
Health:
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) applications from small business concerns (SBCs) that seek additional funding to support clinical trials for projects that were previously funded by NIH SBIR and STTR Phase II awards.

Through WaterSMART, the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) leverages Federal and non-Federal funding to work cooperatively with States, Tribes, and local entities as they plan for and implement actions to increase water supply reliability through investments in existing infrastructure and attention to local water conflicts.
EDA will support regional workforce training systems in designing and implementing activities for established sectoral partnerships that meet the existing and emerging skills needs of employers and that train and place program participants into good jobs.
Forecasted Opportunities:
This TEGL announces application procedures to solicit applications from eligible entities for the Department’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA)FY 2024 Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending grants.
The proposed opportunity is designed to reduce risks for deployments, increase the potential for commercial adoption through longer-duration demonstrations (expected to last nearly two years), and offer additional benefits to help quickly advance WECs.
