Last Week in IT: (8/5-8/9): Who raised $45M? + What is Most Important in Cloud Security + Battle Royale

As the world continues to slowly shift back from remote to in-person work, I've been reflecting on how fortunate I am as a co-founder to work remotely at times. In the startup world, it's easy to feel like life revolves around work 24/7, making it challenging to carve out time for anything else. Yet, the ability to work remotely has offered me a balance that I wouldn't have been able to achieve just a few years ago.

This past week, I spent time in Maine with my entire family—parents, siblings, wife, and uncle. While I was working during the day, I could still enjoy quality moments with them in the mornings and evenings. This experience reminded me of the importance of integrating family time into my schedule, even if it's not a full vacation. Of course, you still need to take full vacations, but I feel lucky to have had the time with them this week.
