Last Week in IT: (11/11-11/15): Best Jazz Album of the Year? + Tyson Odds + Invoicing Accuracy...

The channel is starting to wind down as we approach the holidays, with fewer in-person events and webinars on the horizon. On the vendor side, the focus has shifted to 2025 planning—reviewing budgets and strategizing for the year ahead.

Teams are analyzing what worked, what didn’t, and determining the right balance between investments in in-person events, community initiatives, and digital marketing.

For MSPs, this is a time for reflection and realignment. Many are assessing their client portfolios to determine which relationships remain mutually beneficial, exploring ways to improve efficiency, and reevaluating their tech stacks.

This includes deciding which tools to keep, adopt, or eliminate to better support their goals for the upcoming year.

Let's dive right in... (Also, if I were a betting man, my money is on Tyson tonight, but then again, chances of this fight being real are slim)

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Zero Networks

Zero Networks fixes the root cause of most successful cyberattacks - overly open networks and excessive login permissions - with a simple, fully automated platform for zero trust segmentation and remote access. Zero Networks learns and automatically restricts network and user access to what's strictly essential, leveraging multi-factor authentication to stop attacks from spreading.

Segment every asset and connect any user in a click in less than 30 days!

The modern organizational network is heavily fragmented: It starts at employees’ homes and spans across on-prem data centers in multiple sites, multiple clouds, and various OT/IoT environments. Inevitably, this also fragmented network security into multiple products and interfaces, making day-to-day control and management highly complex. So they decided to reinvent the way network security is done. We unified the disjointed pillars of network security – segmentation and remote access – into a single, simple platform.
