The Last Time Humanity United Across the Planet and became one was for Humanities only Worthwhile Goal...Space Exploration
Joseph L Trahan
Executive Chairman at BIZPAC and Candidate for Texas State Senate Dist 15
The last time the USA and, in fact, the world was united, was when we came together to take on the challenge of safely putting man in space and bringing him home again.
Hamm the chimpanzee was the first American in space.
Humans of planet earth were united and horrified as Apollo 1 command module (the part the astronauts sit in at the very top) had an electrical spark in the sealed oxygen rich capsule and instantly roasted three of our best, destroying our hopes for safe space flight.
But...we determined to try again...with somber resolve.
400,000 NASA employees, contractors and government agencies swallowed their broken hearts and with more careful determination than ever, set out to never let that happen again.
Even enemies of these United States held their breath and came together with all people of the planet when Gemini 4 astronaut Gene Cernan was circling the planet 130 miles above the surface at 6,700 miles per hour performing that first treacherous space walk in the vast void and uncertainty of space.
For approx 2 hours Gene's heart rate was racing at 160bpm and core temp topping the charts as the world's best physicists on the ground tried to comprehend the nothingness of the void of space was like wrestling a team of dragons with NO leverage and even the slightest tension of the umbilical flinging him wildly out of control.
On earth in earth gravity, the umbilical was relatively nothing as gravity gave it a "base" or place to go to and rest just as our body weight rests on our feet upon the earth. In the vacuum of space, the surface tension of the 25" umbilical slapped Gene around like and angry octopus tentacle pulling and pushing him constantly, taking all of his strength to perform the simplest task.
NASA learned volumes about the void of space that day.
Somehow, through serendipity and just plain luck, I was introduced to Gene Cernan more than a decade before his death and introduced him several times on stage and spoke at conferences with him. He gave my youngest daughter's grade school graduation address and told my oldest daughter to "win big and give it your very best" as regional swim competition. We sat together to watch the competition. He cheered for my daughters...I cheered for his grand daughter and helped him walk through that crowd after his knee replacement surgery that was healing. Kaitlin went on as a freshman to win 7th in state that season and still has her picture with Gene from that swim meet.
Apollo 12 was struck by lightening just after launch and all electronics and controls shut down...The world held their breath all at once, all at the same time.
1.5 Million pounds of thrust was literally rocketing our favorite sons...our hopes and dreams, those three crew members, into an uncontrolled orbit with almost no data coming back to Houston Mission Control. There was no way to control the first stage separation and fire off the thruster of the second stage burn to propel to the moon or even turn around and come home. We were headed for disaster at 25,200 miles per hour.
An astoundingly intelligent and very young native son of Texas, raised in western Oklahoma, physics degreed cowboy was EECOM (electrical, environmental, and consumables manager) mission controller. John Aarons, took his thin cigar away from his lips and simply popped on the mic and said "Flight, try SCE to Aux" or auxiliary. No one had any idea what that command was supposed to do. But John did. This brought the instrumentation electrical circuit down and switched over to a lower voltage so they could begin reporting back to ground control and slowly reboot systems.
I worked for John Aarons on several projects directly on NASA ISS, for which John was the program director at the time. He rebooted a young and very intense me on several occasions, thankfully.
Next came the Apollo 13 oxygen tank stir explosion that John Aarons in his horned rim glasses and thin cigar popped out some fast calculous and told Mission Control director Gene Krantz: "we are gonna have to sling shot them around the moon to get them back..." and he was right about that too.
Gene Cernan was the last man to walk on the moon aboard Apollo 17 having served three missions to space: Gemini 4 and Apollo 10 and 17.
These moments. These simple gripping terrorizing moments.
These were uniting moments for the people of the planet.
Practically every thinking human being on the planet, young and old...farm to skyscraper...jungle hut village to metropolis...every continent, every job, every age very young and very old.
All of us.
United around a glorious mission, a noble endeavor. The people of the planet, in these moments of pioneering, wild frontier exploring "exhilaratingly dangerous death cheating worthy goal for all of mankind" moments...
This is the course President John F Kennedy set this nation, the planet, these people upon.
A relatively small group of unscrupulous selfish pirates killed John F Kennedy for not letting them have the US Air Force cover they wanted to run out Castro so their publicly traded company could make 100 X for their oil fields which were the eastern half of Cuba. They blew his brains out in broad daylight on national television clear as day right in front of 4 future Presidents which they installed later.
They did this to teach ANY President, they could be taken out brutally with no remorse, regard and little consequence.
George H W Bush, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Lyndon B Johnson were in Dallas Texas Dealy Plaza November 22, 1963. These facts are now confirmed by released top secret documents and the CIA is so filthily involved with every aspect of it, as has long been suspected, that the agency is the real "mafia" of these United States and the planet.
Then they killed JFK's little brother Bobby for knowing all of this.
My fellow Americans,
We can and must take total charge of our nation. The massive corruption at hand, the constant scams and obvious money laundering and rip offs...those perps must be hunted down and brought to justice...10's of thousands of them. All of them.
Because, if we don't.
You know we won't survive and chaos, mortal terror, corruption and evil will thrive and overtake this glorious planet.
Listen to John F Kennedy. An excerpt of his inspiring speech at Rice University. If you can not find the American in your soul in JFK's words recorded here...you'll want to slow down, reread all of this and try with all that you have to come to grips with what is at stake for us all and now.
