Last Will and Testament

Last Will and Testament

The next area of the Protection component in our Protection, Savings, & Growth model is a last Will & Testament. It is a document that expresses a person’s wishes on how their property is to be distributed upon death. Depending on the state if you pass away without a Will it is considered intestacy where distribution of the property becomes responsibility of the probate court of the state. An estate planning attorney can create a Will to make sure your assets go where they are desired and people of your choosing manage that process. It is also important that ownership and beneficiaries of assets are properly coordinated with and Wills & Trusts to potentially avoid court proceedings. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help facilitate any relationships with current or future estate planning attorneys.

 Take care,

 Bob
