It can be challenging to purchase gifts for everyone on your list, especially when budgets and time are tight. Here are four different ways you can think about giving this holiday season.
Give Time
Instead of giving a material gift, let your loved one know you would like to do something for them later.?It doesn’t have to be a high-cost item either – it could be as simple as making plans for a movie marathon or making a special meal together.?Spending time together making memories can be an impactful gift, especially for the children on our lists.
Give Good Luck
Giving “good luck” could pan out big, or it could provide a few minutes of smiles and fun. For those of age on your list, a package of scratch tickets or a lottery ticket can be a fun gift.

Give in Their Name
What is your loved one passionate about? Art? Children? Polar bears??Find a related cause and make a donation in their name.?There are so many ways to support causes around the globe in this day and age, you can have a lot of fun with it! You can help pay for scientific exploration by “buying” a star, or “adopting” a sloth. Instead of sponsoring one child in need, you could sponsor an entire village by purchasing them goats or supporting education efforts. Larger organizations often have a gift they will send to the recipient as a token.
Give an Add On
Team up with someone else, and buy accessories for their favorite gadget or toy! Know that a teen in your life who’s getting their first cellphone or tablet? You could pick up the case and accessories they’ll need to get the most out of it. Or how about a game or controller for the new gaming system they’re receiving? For the adults in your life, those little extras and accessories could mean the world – a cellphone dashboard holder for the car, a great set of Bluetooth speakers, a bathtub shelf to make bath time that much more luxurious. What could you “add on” that would make your friend or loved one’s life easier?
There's a lot of pressure to splash out on big, fancy gifts this time of year. With a little creativity, you can give a gift to remember long after the decorations have been packed up and the extended family has left.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
