Game changing Glasgow!
Glasgow City Region is home to over 1,500 innovative tech firms – more than in Bristol, Brisbane or Brussels.
Innovator spotlight:?Professor Quintin Cutts, University of Glasgow
Prof. Cutts is the director of the Centre for Computing Science Education where he developed the?first Graduate Apprenticeship degree programme in software engineering in 2009. In 2015 he was awarded an MBE for services to the sector.
Quintin has also been named as a Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery -?the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.
What is Computer Science?
Computer science is the study of computers, including computational theory, hardware and software design, algorithms and the way humans interact with technology.
University of Glasgow joins £12m next-gen telecoms research project
