The last day of March, the first day of April, and smoke in the wind...
Bryce Main
Multi-genre author, mostly Crime fiction. Scottish. Been writing longer than I’ve been wearing big boy’s trousers.
Today is the last day of March.
Tomorrow we’ll be the first day into April 2024.
Yesterday, if you remember, an event took place at Stockport Central Library, where publishers and authors from the North West…saw, browsed and purchased brilliant books…heard brilliant talks… and had a good natter with all the friends and literary families we haven’t seen for yonks.
One of those publishers is Northodox Press…my publishers. In this photo you’ll see James and Ted, two of the brilliant people behind Northodox, with a stack of their beautifully designed paperbacks.
We writers of Northodox do the easy part. We come up with the words that make up the stories.
James and Ted do the difficult bit. They do the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. The stuff that they don’t get nearly enough thanks for.
So it’s time to set the record straight.
Thanks James…thanks Ted…and thanks all who work with them.
Thanks for bringing my debut crime novel A Time for Dying to life.
And thanks for working your magic on so many books for so many authors.
Without you, our novels would simply be so many unprinted words waiting to be read and enjoyed. Without you, our dreams would evaporate like so much smoke in the wind.
One word of warning. Once you pick it up…you won’t want to put it down.
Until you pick up the sequel...
A Time for Dying is available from Amazon, my publishers (Northodox Press) and all good bricks and mortar book shop, in paperback and ebook.
