Happy New Year everyone! Over the past few weeks, many in our society have celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Kwanzaa and New Year's Eve. Today marks the beginning of the New Year, and it's also the last day of Kwanzaa with the 7th Principle being Imani (faith).
As we all moved forward in our personal & professional pursuits in 2016, let us be clear regarding our purpose and have faith in ourselves and the people in our circle of influence. For me, 2015 brought about some of the most disheartening and challenging experiences of my life. It also provided some amazing 1sts for me, and I couldn't be more proud. What it confirmed for me was that with patience, faith, perseverance and acceptance, I am stronger and more resilient than I ever imagined. I learned how to practice self care. I am a hard worker, and I know that faith without works is dead. I love doing the work, and I love what I do. Have faith, have fun, remain focused and always work in the spirit of excellence.
