Last Chance to Apply for Rental Relief in L.A. City – Application Period Ends on Friday, April 30, 2021

Attention all Los Angeles City Rental Property Owners: There is still time to apply for the City of Los Angeles Emergency Renters Assistance Program. Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021. The City’s online application website is open and available to accept your applications 24 hours per day / 7-days per week. Be sure to click on the "Submit" button. Supporting documentation may be uploaded at a later time.

Anyone that may be experiencing trouble applying online may submit their application through the City’s call center at (833) 373-0587. The Call Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on April 28th and April 29th and will be open until midnight on April 30th.

DO NOT DELAY – GET YOUR APPLICATIONS FOR RENTAL ASSISTACNE IN A.S.A.P. BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT.

Once the application period ends on April 30, 2021, the City of Los Angeles will begin to disburse rental assistance funds for qualified, approved applications soon thereafter. No funds have yet been disbursed.

The City’s website for accepting applications is located at https://hcidla.lacity.org/. Again, submit your application ASAP. Note: the tenant must currently live in the rental unit for their current landlord to be eligible to receive financial assistance on behalf of the tenant for any rent past due between April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
