“Consistency Is What Transform Average Into Excellence”
Every path that you choose leads to somewhere with your purpose.
But there are times that your LinkedIn purpose may get disturbed as you are not making an effort towards it.
On October 11, I got a message from one of my connections, Ashi Singhal.
The message was nothing short of a spark that got in my brain.
She was about to start a 30 day LinkedIn challenge.
BUT BAMMM!
I had an issue, I was just done with my maternity break and had to resume work from the 15th of October.
I was like -
‘How can I commit this, when I already have some much on my plate’
'This needs my dedication and hard work or else no use’
'What if I join and end up not making use of it’
These were the questions I had in my mind.
Then again I went back and read her post where she talked about the session and the PDF as well.
It had 5 main factors that I have been chasing for a long.
1)Consistency: For me, this was the challenge as though I started Linkedin in 2019. I was not giving my 100% then. I had to put in the right efforts to seek the right results.
2) Accountability: Many times during my office work, LinkedIn posting, and even other aspects I do have had issues with the accountability of my projects and maintaining the timelines as well.
3) Community building: I have been a community person for a long time. But just being there is not enough. You need to put an equal amount of effort to make it work. Especially when you are given a situation like that. Where you have to prove yourself.
4)Pro Strategies: For any project that I work on or I learn as a skill there has to be a strategy behind it. A plan that I need to execute so that I present my best and obtain the desired results.
5) T- shaped Network: For me, it’s always been a challenge to become a T Shaped marketer. Because this helps in the real scenario world where I want to prove my potential. The exploring curve has to reach more people at the right time and I need to make it work for myself.
Do you think after reading the post, there was a single doubt in my head?
Not! I knew what I was committing to and how I can work on these qualities in 30 days.
My brain and my heart were together just giving me one sign and shouting from inside
'I KNOW I CAN MAKE IT. I CAN ACHIEVE IT’
I just need one aim.
Aim of being consistent in my work and in keeping my workflow consistent. And guess what just happened?
I DID IT!
I did what I chose and survived the battle of the 30 day LinkedIn challenge.
In this beautiful journey of 30 days, I met 14 different and unique people from different streams. Learned how people have such big desires and how they make things work for themselves.
My group E which had 2 of my friends Monica and Subramani was constantly active and pushing me as well in this journey. The journey comes exciting only if you have such like-minded and energetic people who can push you and hold you accountable as well.
This journey would not be so much fun without constant guidance and support from our leader Ashi Singhal, Founder of DemystifyLI. She supported us and gave us strict rules.
But she also laughed and made our journey interesting by sharing knowledge and giving some mind-boggling examples.
OH! Yes! This also marks the last post of the journey. But the most memorable one.
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never the same” - My feeling for a 30 day LinkedIn Branding Journey.
