They have all played a part in a team that has honestly given me joy the past few weeks after a terrible 18 months they deserve our respect.
Penalties are a 50/50 - you score or you don’t. They were brave enough to step up in the most important game his country has had in over half a century.
They are 23, 21 & 19 years old.
One has raised 20Million for starving kids and the others have been active in helping local communities by using their money, time and voice.
What have most of us done in the past 18 months that has made a difference to the pride of this country or helped people in need?
They deserve our respect & not this horrific abuse they are getting instead
I am so sad of the scenes before and after the game. There are always those that have ruin it, Go to far…and ask yourself, after how some of us have acted. Why would any of those England players want to play well and get us to another final?

And you know what, In the last 12 hours I’ve gone from probably the proudest I’ve ever been of being ‘English’ by having our lads in the final and the national community feeling like it was back.
Too 100% my lowest moment of national pride seeing how some of us react to brave hard working men, giving their all in a super high pressure environment.
It’s not on. I don’t identify with these people.
This isn’t the country I want my child growing up in and it is certainly something I will teach my son, you stand up for people who are being abused no matter the cost.
I can’t believe we still live in a world where this ancient white supremacist colonial self entitled mindset still exists. It’s bullshit it got to change.
I’m one man and I’ll do my bit and I hope others will too.

Couln't agree more Danny. When a country stokes up nationalism the way this country has done these past 4 years, unfortunately it gives licence to certain disaffected factions that think they now have the right to beat up those who are in any way different from them. To think that Italians now worry about being beaten up for having won a football match far and square against England is just one step away from fascism. Actually, no, it is facism.

3 年I felt utterly depressed this morning after seeing what had happened before & after the game. The cowardly, disgusting abuse these young men received was not something anyone should ever have to put up with. The morons who embarrassed themselves, their families & this country (which they claim to love) with their behaviour yesterday don’t deserve to be associated with a team of young men who ARE everything you want being English to represent.
