Last 10 years in geopolitics world

One thing on geopolitics is that the past explains the present and has solutions for it and for a normal future, yes normalility is the goal as a "public asset". Private agendas have rippen off world′s stability in a so basic kind of primate strategies i have to recognize, examples like politicians with corporate electoral sponsorship worldwide. Reflecting on the past decade in geopolitics, we've witnessed a period of significant tumult, marked by several key challenges and corresponding solutions.

  1. Rise of Populism: Around the world, we've seen a surge in populist leaders. This has often led to internal divisiveness and a shift away from multilateralism. The solution has been complex, but there's a renewed emphasis on the importance of democratic resilience, education, and the safeguarding of institutions.
  2. Climate Change: This global issue has necessitated international cooperation. The Paris Agreement was a landmark, but the real challenge lies in its implementation. Solutions are ongoing, involving a mix of policy change, technological innovation, and shifts in public behavior.
  3. Cybersecurity and Information Warfare: The digital landscape has become a battlefield. Solutions have included enhanced cybersecurity protocols, international agreements on cyber conduct, and more transparent media practices.
  4. Global Health Crises: The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the importance of global health security. Solutions have involved unprecedented scientific collaboration for vaccines, and there's an ongoing discussion about improving global health infrastructure.
  5. Economic Shifts: We've seen the economic rise of new players, particularly in Asia, and increasing economic inequality within countries. Solutions include new trade agreements, economic policies focusing on equity, and sustainable development plans.
  6. Migration: Conflicts and economic disparity have driven migration, challenging national policies and international relations. Solutions require a blend of humanitarian response, conflict resolution, and cooperative international policies.
  7. Territorial Disputes and Conflicts: From the South China Sea to Ukraine, territorial disputes have necessitated diplomatic engagement. The solutions are ongoing, often involving international mediation, sanctions, or, in some cases, military deterrence.
  8. Nuclear Proliferation: Particularly with North Korea and the Iran nuclear deal, this remains a key concern. Solutions involve diplomatic negotiations, often coupled with economic incentives or sanctions.

The constant through all of these challenges has been the indispensable role of diplomacy and the need for a rules-based international order. Solutions require not just the actions of national governments, but also the engagement of civil society, businesses, and individuals. The future will likely hold new challenges, and our ability to adapt and cooperate will be tested.
