With over 20 years of experience in the laser industry, JP brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to the company’s innovation team.

An Industry Veteran with Over 20 years of Experience

JP’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering from Laval University and a PhD in Physics at TRIUMF (Canada’s national lab for nuclear and particle physics) in Vancouver, British Columbia. His academic achievements laid the foundation for an impressive career and broad recognition in the laser industry.

Before joining Laserax, JP spent 15years at Coherent Corp as North America Applications Labs Manager, where he played a key role in advancing laser technologies and delivering impactful solutions across diverse industries.

Equipped with advanced laser systems and best-in-class technology, the facility will offer a wide range of services that address the evolving needs of rapidly growing markets such as battery manufacturing, electric vehicles, energy, solar and aerospace.
