Profound understanding of machine troubleshooting and process optimization (SMT, THT, PCBA Assembly)
Laser soldering is a technique where a precisely focused laser beam provides controlled heating of the solder alloy leading to a fast and non-destructive of an electrical joint.
? In Contact soldering, heat is transferred from the iron tip,
? In laser soldering, the lighted area (Laser) generates heat.
Tip Soldering V/S Laser Soldering:-
? In contact soldering, the tip's own temperature is the upper limit.
? But in laser soldering, if laser shot is continuously pointed at one place, the temperature will unlimitedly rise.
Therefore, the light energy and time interval must be managed with care.
NOTE:- We can create various laser beam spot shapes according to PCB pad.
Not required different size of soldering bit like tip soldering.
