The travel platform is an online marketplace and organizer that assists in finding, comparing, and booking everything required for a complete vacation.
Client’s background
Our client is one of the world's greatest online travel B2B & B2C marketplaces that gathers information from over 1,000 Northern Europe tour operators in one single place. The platform allows its customers to find, book, and review travel tours, rent cars, find suitable accommodations, contact locals for personal advice, and much more.
In 2015, the client wanted to enter the global market for the travel industry and thus needed to expand the functionality. Although the company had in-house developers, they decided to add more resources to the team. The primary aim was to find a reliable partner with strong expertise in e-commerce development to reduce time to market.

Since our cooperation started, the client’s company has won lots of awards, including the Deloitte Fast 500 and World Travel Awards. Besides, the client has gotten TripAdvisor Certification for Excellence for 4 years.
The marketplace reduces the time travelers spend on trip planning. The average number of searches to find all a person needs is 52. Within the marketplace, the average number to complete the reservation goes down to 28.
Through joint efforts with the in-house team, we simplified the booking funnel. Now, users can book a trip package, accommodations, transport, food, tours, and tickets – all they need for the whole trip with just 7 clicks.
The number of new visitors has been growing, and nowadays it’s between 10 000 - 15 000 daily, or 350 000 - 450 000 visitors monthly. There are 2 000 new user signups daily as well.
2500 suppliers partner with the marketplace nowadays.
Development of the marketplace as a white label solution allowed to sell the marketplace as a service to businesses around the world to cover new grounds.
