The largest door in India completes 5 years of trouble free service.

Installed in 2013, the massive hangar door at Boeing Air India MRO facility in Nagpur India, stands 27M high and whopping 206M wide, this April completed its 5 years of service.

Manufactured by Butzbach Gmbh, Germany with the structural components " Made in India" this piece of massive machinery is a work of fine precision. At a press of a button, you could walk the door to either side of the mammoth hangar which can hide 2 Airbus 380s or 6 smaller planes.
