Laparoscopic colorectal resection for bowel occlusion due to endometriosis
27 year nullipara
She presented with ileocolic and rectal occlusion 7 months previously.
Open surgery was performe in emergency in another facility. She underwent ileocolic resection, both ileostomy and colostomy, bilateral cystectomy, while rectal endometriosis was not treated.
Then, she was referred in our department for an advice.
We performed laparoscopic colorectal resection, colostomy refection and ileostomy replacement on an unique site.
Total operative time 3h30min.
EFI score was 6, thus spontaneous conception will be attempted for 6-9 months after the closure of the ileostomy.
