There are many reasons why language evolves. However, according to Linguist Guy Deutscher, it’s commonly enough but one of two. In his book ‘The Unfolding of Language’, Deutscher outlined the functional systems of communication and believed that we require language to either organize our thoughts or better articulate our innovation.
