These five quotes have gone viral on social media pushed by those who can now only be described as apologists for brutal and unrepentant racist terrorism. We have to unpack all of this and try to understand the mentality behind what drives this deceitful narcissism.?

Ceasefire. Something we can all agree on is that the ceasefire was broken by Hamas on 7th October and that fatal morning has forever changed the world. Not only did Hamas commit the most brutal, morally repugnant savagery, they also continue a nonstop onslaught of indiscriminate rocket attacks against Israel’s civilians. Israel’s objective is to completely destroy Hamas’ capability and to stop, prevent and repel any further attacks. Asking any state to agree to a ceasefire before its lawful defensive objectives have been met, is in effect asking that state to stop defending itself. Note: No calls have been made to demand Hamas lay down their weapons.

Humanitarian crisis in Gaza. There is a massive humanitarian crisis in Gaza and innocent civilians and children are dying. Had the advice to move south been heeded, many unnecessary deaths would have been avoided. Yet sadly, this is another immoral tactic employed by Hamas. They wantonly place little value on human life and still willingly use man, woman and child as human shields. It has been proven time and again that Hamas fire rockets and stockpile munitions in residential buildings, in sacred buildings, in UN buildings and even in hospitals. Israel is a particularly moral army, and whilst they actively mitigate the horrors of war they cannot eliminate them. Only Hamas can. Note: No calls have been made to demand Hamas stop dehumanising their own population.

Zionism is terrorism. This is a complete, and utterly deliberate, bastardisation of language. Zion is Israel is Jews. Zion is part of our liturgy and a focal part of daily Jewish prayer for literally thousands of years. I’m an unabashed, practicing Jew. A Zionist. My Judaism is my Zionism and my Zionism is my Judaism. There is no distinction. One does not survive, let alone exist, without the other and this is the rule of thumb for the vast majority of world Jewry. And Hamas knows this, hence the celebrated objective sworn into their charter; to humiliate and eliminate every single Jew, man, woman and child. Zionism is an eternal yearning, brandishing it as terrorism is to demonise Israel and legitimize Jew-hate. Note: No calls have been made to demand Hamas amend their charter.

Israel is weaponising the Holocaust. What a grotesque exploitation of history. On the one hand we’re to believe that Israel and Judaism are separate, only to be told that the only Jewish state weaponises its own history. Make it all make sense! Israel is the birthplace of sustained and maintained Judaism, predating Palestine by more than 3,000 years. Israel was reclaimed after the systematic persecution and genocide of six million Jews, because it’s the Jewish homeland, established millennia before the birth of Islam let alone any sort of Arab Palestinian identity. The British Mandate of Palestine (it was never a country) was split into a massive land for the Arabs, Jordan, and a tiny land for the Jews, Israel. It really is just a tiny strip of land and the only Jewish land in the world. The country’s national calendar celebrates and commemorates exclusively all Jewish festivals. Israel is weaponising Oct 7 to commit genocide. This is astonishingly heinous. Not only because the notion that genocide is being committed has been debunked, but that the monstrous attacks actually committed less than three weeks ago are whimsically equitable to Israel’s justified, legal and moral response. There is war, but there is no genocide – the Palestinian population has seen a growth of 155% in the last 32 years. Israel has a moral duty to protect her citizens and stave off any potential threat or attack. War was brought upon her by murderous dictators, enacting Jihad in the name of Allah, and has forever changed the lives of future generations. What’s possibly even more disturbing is that this is all supported by antisemitic mainstays for a brutal regime who too will meet a sorry end once the mullahs are done with their committed genocide of the Jews. In Israel, the brotherly accord runs so deep that one’s head covering or skin colour is irrelevant and everyone is achi! – my brother! For nearly three weeks we have mourned yesterday’s tragedy fearfully anticipating further tragedy, as the soul of our nation is once again mauled publicly. For nearly three weeks rockets have continually rained down on Israel’s towns and cities; the booms are sometimes distant and sometimes all too close.

Not only was an unspeakable hell unleashed, not only are there still 210 hostages in captivity, but Israel is still being indiscriminately targeted every hour of every day. And unfathomably, there are absurd and odious demands for Israel to stop taking out terrorists and destroying terrorism. This is an unadulterated, bigoted fraud. I thank God that our allies see the wood for the trees and have said and done the right things, but let’s not kid ourselves, so many of their citizens and even some of their sitting parliamentary officials, justify Hamas in their call for Jihad.
