Welcome to the LandTech Newsletter for June ??

The Sites Pipeline is LandTech’s integrated CRM and opportunity management tool, and it’s specifically designed to enable you and your teams to track deals and manage opportunities effectively.

This month we’ve made some exciting upgrades to the Sites Pipeline, as well as introducing a brand new data layer to the map.?

You won’t want to miss it, and neither will your colleagues. So, if there’s anyone you think needs to be kept in the loop then be sure to share.

Let's dive in! ??

It's time to make the move from GIS tools to LandTech ??

GIS tools, like Google Earth, can be super beneficial to Real Estate developers.

They are particularly useful when it comes to preliminary site scouting, visualizing potential development sites and creating attractive presentations for stakeholders, but they also have their limitations.???

LandTech is built differently - it’s built with Real Estate in mind. ??

LandTech data layers provide instant access to high quality data that actually matters, our market-leading sourcing tool enables you and your team to find opportunities that meet your exact needs, and the Sites Pipeline, our integrated CRM and deal management tool lets your team say goodbye to error-prone, outdated and clunky spreadsheets.

It’s a fast, easy to use, one-stop-shop that will transform the way you find and secure development opportunities.???

But moving systems can be a little like moving house: you know it’s better in the long run, but the task of packing up everything you own can be tiresome, and there’s always a risk you’ll lose something important in the process. And that’s just not good for business.?

So, that’s why we’ve introduced our new site uploader feature.??

It means you can take all the sites you’ve saved in GIS tools like Google Earth, and seamlessly upload them directly to your LandTech Sites Pipeline. Even better, you can do it in bulk.?

In just a few minutes, all the sites previously saved by you and your team will be loaded into LandTech with their precise locations, and you can instantly make use of LandTech’s site assessment and opportunity management features.?

To get started, head to the Sites Pipeline on LandTech and click the ‘upload sites to pipeline’ button in the top right of your screen. From there, simply select the stage you’d like your sites to appear in, and drag and drop your files.?

Easily filter your saved sites in the map view ??

We’re all about providing you with a seamless user experience, so we’ve introduced a new feature that improves the integration between your Sites Pipeline and the map view.???

Now, you can choose which sites you want to see on the map based on how they are set up in your Sites Pipeline.?

Maybe you’re in the process of searching for new Vacant Lot opportunities? If so, you’ll likely have a ‘Vacant Lot opportunities’ stage in your pipeline that you and your team have been working hard to populate. If you want to get a super quick look at all those sites on the map, now you can.?

We’ve added a list of filters to the ‘Saved Sites’ layer, so you can now view saved sites based on:

  • Stage
  • County
  • Assignee
  • Label

New data layer in LandTech: Water Resources ??

That’s right, there’s a new kid on the block.

Our new Water Resources data layer provides you and your teams with a centralized map of drinking water source, which tells you whether a site uses public water systems or domestic wells,?and wastewater treatment methods, which tells you whether a site uses central sewer systems or on-site septic systems.?

So, why is this beneficial to Real Estate pros????

It’s site analysis… supercharged.???

We’ve combined public and domestic data, so you can determine how drinking water and wastewater are managed for any site you’re interested in. Plus, you’ll instantly know if a site is publicly serviced or not which means you can quickly suss out if there’s a need for additional water and wastewater infrastructure (and any potential costs to you!).?

Better site analysis + a clearer estimate of project costs =? informed decision-making???

Head to the? ‘All layers’ drop-down in LandTech now and activate the ‘Water Resources’ layer to try it for yourself.

If you’d like to see how Water Resources and all of our other data layers can help you, click the link below to book a quick session with one of our product experts.?

LandTech in the press... again ???

The Florida Phoenix recently featured LandTech’s data in their article on the Live Local Act, highlighting our commitment to providing developers with the tools to tackle real estate’s complexity.?

According to our analysis, amendments to the Act will result in a potential 22% reduction in available development sites for affordable housing across the state’s five largest metropolitan areas (Jacksonville, South Florida, Sarasota/Bradenton, Orlando-Kissimmee, and the Tampa Bay area).???

While the Act’s original intent to incentivize affordable housing development is commendable, these revisions may hinder progress.? ??

If you’d like to read more and find out how the Live Local Act could shape the future of Florida’s housing market, then you can check out the full article here:?
