Landing Trumio and IIT BHU MoU - a momentous occasion in our journey

?“Katre katre se banta hai mukam”?meaning?“Every drop contributes to the journey’s end”.

I would let my poetic side speak a little, considering the momentous occasion of Trumio Inc. signing the MoU with Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi during the?Kavya Sandhya?event, part of the Rastriya Rajya Bhasha initiative at this esteemed institution.

I also got to see the poetic side of Prof. Amit Patra, Director, and Dr. Sushant Kumar Shrivastava, Chair of the Placement Cell. ????

I always knew Prof. Amit Patra was a fan of Rabindra Sangeet. I had seen books in his office when he was Deputy Director at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and now they sit proudly on the left side of his desk (I observe, sir ??) in the director's office at Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. I discovered he not only translates these poems into Hindi and English but also recites them in their original composition. ????

I have seen many sides of Prof. Amit Patra since I got to know him—a humble and grounded person with a big vision and an astute administrator. I also observed his competitive side. Our interaction started at a coffee shop in a mall in San Mateo, CA, where a 15-minute conversation turned into a 2-hour discussion. His belief in what Trumio Inc. has to offer to students in this new AI age is remarkable. His leadership from day one of Trumio Inc.’s journey not only led us to breakthroughs at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur but across the IIT ecosystem. And I must say, Sir, you helped us land the first “official” signing of the MoU at Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi although I must also say it was all approved and ready to go at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, thanks to our esteemed colleague Prof. Rintu Banerjee, Deputy Director at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (more on that in my next post). ??

I cannot say enough about Dr. Sushant Kumar Shrivastava. I always found his style to be poetic in all our conversations but got to see firsthand his original compositions at this occasion. It was a huge surprise when he invited me to this Kavya Sangeet evening and told me we would be signing the MoU in the presence of the Chief Guest and Sahitya Academy Award winner Shree Gyanendra Pati Ji along with the community of administrators, professors, educators and students from this institution reciting their originals or there to enjoy a fine Friday evening. ????

I will always remember the welcome and the introductions you gave me and the team Trumio Inc. at this event. Being asked to say a few words in Hindi at the last minute was a nice touch, although it turned out to be a bit challenging for me - even though I come from a Hindi Medium school. Sir, you need to give me credit for trying, even though I had to switch to English midstream. Before Prof. Amit Patra left this event, he told me he needs us at Trumio Inc. to be successful! That's a challenge to us at Trumio Inc.. I replied to Prof. Amit Patra and Dr. Sushant Kumar Shrivastava , yes Sir, the real journey starts now! ??
