Landing A Job When You Suck At Job Interviews

Landing A Job When You Suck At Job Interviews

Many job seekers suck at job interviews ... so how do you land a job when you suck at job interviews.

You could keep on sucking at interviews, hoping that someone won't notice or that you get lucky.

Or you can learn how to start succeeding at job interviews ... here are a few ways people who suck at job interviews can land jobs:

  1. Give The Hiring Manager What They Want:?You don't have to be a great salesperson to find your nest job. What you do need is to prove you can give the hiring manager what they want. Almost all job seekers try to show hiring managers they can give them what's on the job description, which makes you a qualified candidate among many. To land a job when you suck at job interviews, prove you can give the hiring manager more by going beyond the job description to learn more of what they need now (the job description almost always describe outdated needs anyways).
  2. Do More Than Other Candidates:?Most job seekers apply online or through 3rd party recruiters - You can do more. Most job seekers use publicly available information as their employer research - You can do more. Most candidates describe themselves as qualified - You can do more.
  3. Land The Job Before You Have To Go Through The Interview:?Hiring managers choose new hires that they trust and want on their team. Very often these new hires were known by the hiring manager before they applied or interviewed - You can do this too and overcome interview suck.

Good thing you can learn how to overcome sucking at interviews, even if you're an introvert.

Wouldn't it be great if you could learn how to change your interview, resume, and job search strategies so you can show employers how great you'll be at doing the job, even though you suck at interviewing? I'll show you what to change in your resume/interview/job search strategy to improve your interviews, show employers that you're great at your job and can give them what they need, turning more interviews into offers so you can land your next job fast.

This is the 3rd job market recession/recovery cycle I've recruited/coached through, so I've seen first hand what resume and job search strategies succeed for job seekers during recovering job markets. I've also seen mistakes candidates make, causing their recovery job searches to fail. I've been through this before and know what works and what doesn't.

That's why numerous job seekers who work with me have already gotten job offers every week since mid-March 2020.

As a top national recruiter who reads hundreds of resumes per day, who has helped hundreds of thousands of candidates in their job search, and seen thousands of employers' job search processes from the inside, I've got a different perspective than most career coaches.

I see that most job seekers do essentially the same things, even when they think they are job searching differently. I see the mistakes that almost every age 40+ job seeker makes that make them lose great opportunities. I also see most job seekers were taught search methods that eliminate them from consideration, because they conflict with the employer's hiring process. You're probably making similar mistakes, without realizing it.

But I've been teaching job seekers to overcome ageism for 14 years by using non-traditional resume/job search strategies that demonstrate impact rather than appearing average. I'll show you how to beat ageism and find a great job during a bad job market by understanding employers' points of view and hiring processes ... and using this understanding to beat your competition.

(I'm not just a career coach. I've also been an active top national recruiter for the last 17 years ... so you'll get advice from an insider's point of view.)

Let me show you what you can do now to change your job search and resume so you can beat ageism during a highly competitive job market, even if you're also between jobs, trying to change careers, industry or location, if your industry is in decline/consolidation, trying to overcome long term career gaps, family leave, find a remote job, turnaround your job search or other tough to solve job search problems.
