LAND DOWN UNDER
Most people have heard of the 'Land down under'- Australia, and many have their own thoughts and ideas about it.
As an Australian living in USA, the land down under is a very special place for me, and there are many so many places that often miss the public eye.
For example, in Sydney my hometown alone, It's a melting pot of culture, business, sport, and relaxation. Circular Quay is a tourist hotspot, with the reputation for having some of the best views of the city, and hosting the world-famous Sydney Opera House, often considered to be one of the 7 wonders of the recent world.
Darling Harbour is a beautiful place to walk around, have a coffee, dinner, take a photo, see a movie in the Colossal IMAX theater, or visit the large China Town district adjacent to the beautiful Chinese Gardens.
You can also walk or drive across Sydney Harbour Bridge and enjoy the city from a different angle, or even go to a classic theme park.
No trip to Sydney is complete without visiting one of our beautiful beaches. You have Bondi Beach (home of the 2000 Olympic games) to the east city, Manly to the north, and Maroubra or Cronulla beach to the south.
The best view of the city is from the top of the Sky Tower building, which has a Rotating Restaurant called '360 degrees'. Here you have a 360-degree view of the city it's just perfection at twilight.
This fine, vibrant city is certainly close to my heart, and for memories that will last a lifetime, it's definitely a 'must see' on your trip to the land down under.
