Lament Of The Soul - It Is Time To Listen

Life is Not Often Easy.

Life is Not Often Fair.

I See the Pain that Others Have.

I Feel the Agony that Infects their Lives.

I Watch People be Used and Abused.

I Hear Nature's Pleas.

The Wind Cries Out.

There are so Many Without Voices.

So Many Without Strength.

So Many Who are Burdened.

So Many Who are Silenced.

So Many Who Are Sick.

So Many Who Are Broken.

The Good Is Pounded into the Dirt and Mud.

The Darkness Threatens to Consume.

Wolves in Sheep's Clothing.

Promises that were Never Intended to be Kept.

People Who Lack Values.

People Who Treat Others as Valueless.

People Who Lie and Cheat and Kill.

For What?

For Power They Lose?

For Money That Has Imagined Value?

For Comfort that Slowly Destroys Them?

What Solace is there When You Cannot Trust Anyone?

When Everyone Is Seen As Your Enemy?

When Everything Becomes an Existential Threat to the Nothingness You Grasp At?

When Your Work and Life Meant Nothing?

Why Do We Live This Way?

Why Do We Accept These Conditions?

My Brain Tries To Comprehend the Madness.

The Insanity of the Cirlces We Become Trapped In.

Around and Around We Go, Ending Up "Exactly" Where We Started.

Without Value.

Without Worth.

Without Others.

Without Happiness.

Without Joy.

Without Meaning.

Without Identity.

Without Purpose.

We Follow the Same Circles Again and Again.

The Same Tactics Used to Achieve the Same Nothing.

Tactics That Do Not Serve Anyone.

We Know What We Seek.

We Know What Will Never Provide It.

Yet We Continue To Seek Where We Know It Will "Never" Be.

Why?

We Watch the Same Results Over and Over Again.

We Allow Broken Systems to Remain.

We Allow Those Who Failed Us to Keep Abusing Us.

They Speak The Words We Seek, but our Hearts Know They Are Lies.

Our Hearts Know.

They Feel the Lies.

They Feel the Deceipt.

They Feel the Danger.

Yet We Still Ignore the Warnings.

The Red Flags Rise Up, yet we Pretend they Do Not Exist.

Circles and Circles.

My Soul Laments At This.

It Cries Out.

Why?

When We Have Value?

When Good Does Exist?

When There Are Paths To What We Need?

Why Do We Allow Others to Tear Us Apart?

When We Know We Are Better United?

How Do We Allow the Darkness to Spread When The Good Is Stronger And More Prevalent?

Why Do We Not Use Our Strengths?

Why Do We Not See Our Worth?

Why Do We Despair When There Is Hope?

Why Do We Grovel When We Are Strong?

Why Do We Accept Slavery When Freedom Is Ours To Take?

Why Do We Not Hold Those At Fault Accountable?

Why Do We Cower When They Have Everything To Lose?

We Do We Make Our Eyes Blind and Our Ears Deaf?

Why Do We Waste The Time We Do Not Have?

Each Moment Is Far More Valuable Than We Realize.

The Time That Is Lost Is Infinitely More Valuable Than We Understand.

Every Moment Has Infinite Potential.

Yet We Squander It.

We Allow Others To Dictate Our Worth.

We Follow Standards Created By A Sick Society.

A Sick Society Creates Sick People.

Are We Beyond Saving?

Are Our Efforts Useless?

Are We Doomed To Oblivion?

We Do Not Have To Be.

We Know In Our Soul That Things Are Wrong.

Yet We Also Know In Our Soul That It Does Not Have To Remain This Way.

The Soul Laments Because It Knows.

It Understands What Is Possible.

Listen To Our Hearts.

Listen To Our Souls.

They Know The Truth.

They Seek The Truth.
