Lake Baikal Photo tour

We invite you, the amazing adventurist, to join ace photographer Tim Vollmer on this engaging tour of the stunning Lake Baikal. We will have a first-hand feel of the largest freshwater lake by volume in the world which contains about 20% of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water.

This thrilling tour offers the greatest chance to Climb the chersky Mountain, explore the Olkhon Island, the Buryatian shore, and Arshan. Combining the history and natural beauty of this rich and fascinating rift lake, this tour hopes to relief you of the worries of day to day life, bringing back fun and excitement.

Travel with Tim to enjoy a tour of this rift lake in Russia, located in southern Siberia. We would see the nerpa seals, which are the symbol of this place. Another Siberia phenomenon we would be visiting in this region is the hot thermal springs in Khakasy.

Tim looks forward to sharing his love for this amazing place; its Landscape, culture, nature, people and the detail Ice on the Lake Baikal, and the stunning view of the Ice sculpture during this photographic journey.

During this tour, we will be having small groups with 2 instructors on 6-10 people making a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5. This helps us to have enough time for everyone individual. During the day, there will be photographic opportunities where Tim teaches all basics of photography and the advanced art of seeing the image, composition etc. While the evening activities include reviews and discussions.

On photo tours, I try my best to help the participants see the beautiful nature of the environment while learning about the culture and way of life of the people. I also provide photo instructions which can be adjusted depending on your needs. I look forward to seeing you in our tour.
