Lagosians do not Queue ??

Ho! Ho! Ho! It's the season for fuel scarcity and queues again. The annoying part, you've been in the queue for hours but people keep buying fuel and going. How now?

But you see in some cases you need to bring out your inner Agbero to make things work, some people in this Lagos don't understand the words, "it is my turn", please, thank you, etc. because it is far away from their vocab.

However, they answer well to violence and what did the bible say about the violent again?

They take it by force and as someone who has been an usher in church and an event manager, this is the most annoying of the lot of behaviors you exhibit sis Chinyere.

I will let it slide but not this time as I was boarding the last bus back home this Tuesday evening. I have had it with cheaters "I told myself"

In the end, Olopa lo ma ko gbo gbo wa! (Police will carry all of us)

Over 100 people had been waiting patiently and suddenly a bus arrived, on my count, I would be the last person to enter.

But then this guy who thinks he is smart just waltzed in and thought we would let it go.

By my count, this guy was twice as big and would probably throw me down with one punch but you see today's own. I wasn't having it.

The first lady says oga can you come down from the bus, he laughs hysterically and makes a side comment about us being a fool and not street-smart. I agree with him because after all, it was some folks who gave him chance to enter.

I mean if your idea of street smart is cheating, how flawed is that line of thinking is. That I queued in the filling station to buy fuel and you that just came used scope to enter, buy fuel and left while I went home with nothing.

So you jump queue at the bank "you wise", you jump the queue for the filling station "you overwise" and every other person otherwise. Ologbongu! Asake no talk pass this.

But you see today, I said no! Another lady looked at me and said we should leave, I said never because it is either the bus doesn't move or this brother comes now. And yes I am that kind of person and not apologetic for that.

So you mean the rest of the people who have been waiting for over one hour don't have anything to do?

Well, today I was in the mood and ready for crazy, "no one was going to go" I retorted out. Another person said why I no behave matured. Ah na this one touch me pass. I stood in front of the bus. ??. I said let me see you move.

I was expecting my fellow passengers to put mouth in this matter but they seem unconcerned because many had chickened out and were afraid to cause trouble.

Trouble no dey pass me for this Lagos. For the next five minutes, the bus didn't move because I won't wait to enter another bus. The pilot navigates back and requests the young man to step down, but he wouldn't budge yet again.

Omo! even Pharoah doesn't have a coconut head like him as he keeps insisting nobody can drag him. In a flash, some of the passengers started shouting out loud for him to come down.

At this moment I was having a victory dance in my head "Power to the people" as he angrily came down and said he his not going again.

I smiled as he came down from the bus, I succeeded at least this time.

While this may have been a one-off, I can't help but wonder why people think being wise is street-smart when in fact what you did is cheating but what do I know?

Well, one thing I know is that there is a free event this Sunday for you if you want to add analytics to your skill set, simply here to learn more.

P.S. Don't forget to like, comment and share. Till the next series.
