Lagerbox acquires furniture store in Cologne. Rezoning approved by city.

City of Cologne approved re-zoning of former furniture store into regular commercial zone opening the way to a (Lagerbox) Selfstorage permit soon. The building consist of appr. 12,500 sqm area and recently underwent major improvements before previous owners Flamme M?bel (furniture) decided to sell the property as part of a mini-portfolio to Lagerbox. Lagerbox wants to open a Selfstorage location by H2-2020, subject to final planning, possibly including some mixed uses like system-gastronomy and fitness. Our rendering as per above is a realistic indication of what should become one of our flagships.
