At eMotors, we love how easy it is to customize Lafert motors to meet your specific needs. Many IEC metric motors are flange mounted, with the most common types being B5 and B14.?
To simplify your shopping experience, we've added -B34 or -B35 to the end of the catalogue number on our website to indicate whether the motor comes with a pre-installed flange. If you don't find the motor you need with a flange already installed, no worries! You can purchase an off-the-shelf motor along with the flange, and our team will handle the installation for you.
For expert assistance in selecting the perfect motor and flange combination, give our team at eMotors a call. We're here to help.?

Most NEMA motors come with an F-1 connection box by default, meaning the conduit box is on the left-hand side of the frame. In contrast, IEC motors typically come in an F-3 assembly, with the conduit box mounted on top of the motor. When mounting a motor in a tight space, you might need to move the conduit box to ensure a proper fit.

Adjusting the feet on Lafert motors is straightforward and convenient. Many of our customers handle this step on their own, but you can also request this modification before purchasing the motor. At eMotors Direct, we ensure you can order your Lafert IEC motor exactly how you need it.

In North America, we typically work with motors built to NEMA specifications. However, we're seeing an increasing demand for IEC motors, especially in the food manufacturing, HVAC, and processing industries. Maintenance managers often request IEC motors when replacing motors on equipment originating from Europe.
