LADIES SHOULD NEVER FIGHT!!!

LADIES SHOULD NEVER FIGHT!!!

W??W! A new excerpt from a great novel, "The Audacity of Faith (Diva Pack Transformation) as written By W. T. Barlow ---

This scene takes place in Raven and Daedai’s dorm room where Daedai is explaining to Raven and Teri how she got drunk the night before and ended up getting into a fight with some girl over at the Rock Bottom Lounge---

[Daedai says,] When I got to the rock bottom lounge, I went in and walked around, and then I saw Jevon, who was supposed to be waiting for me; but he was on the floor dancing. So, I stood by myself, watching him flirting with this girl, and yeah, I had had a few drinks from the bottle I had stashed away in my bag. I was waiting for Jevon to eventually turn around and look for me, I was going to share a little taste of what I had hidden away. When he continued to dance with this chick, through two songs mind you, I guess the alcohol I was consuming by myself at this point, influenced me to go stand on the dance floor right next to him.” Teri briefly interrupts, and asks, "Daedai, did you say, Jevon? Jevon Moore?” Daedai says, “I didn’t know his last name, we met the day before, and he gave me the impression that he and I had something going on.” Teri, with an expression on her face, as if Daedai should have known better, says, “Daedai, Jevon Moore is one of the biggest wh***s on campus.” Raven adds on, saying, “Damn girl, you know how to pick 'em, huh?” Daedai responds quickly, “Oh, and you got room to talk; As far as that goes, you don’t have such a great track record your-damn-self, Raven.” Raven answers back, “Well at least I’m not beating people up over a boy.” Daedai, getting frustrated responds, “look, Ms. Thang, this girl started it. I just finished it.” Teri says, “Daedai, her friends had to take her to the hospital; What happened?” Daedai gives Teri the once up and down, and says, “Hey, It’s better she should go to the hospital, rather than me, don’t you think?” Raven says, “Well tell me this, why did y’all start fighting in the first place?” Daedai says, “I admit, I had a few drinks watching them on the dance floor, but I didn’t try to start a fight. Being just a little jealous, I guess I wanted to interfere with whatever was going on between him and that girl; I wanted him to see me. I stood next to them, calling his name, and he just rolled his eyes around the room, like I wasn’t even there. As I was turning around about to walk away, the girl he was dancing with said, “Hey b***h, can’t you see I’m with my man.” Daedai says I said to her with a smile, “He didn’t seem like he was your man yesterday while he was kissing me on my neck. Surprised and upset by what I said, she immediately turned to face Jevon. He just rolled his eyes away from her as he had done to me and said nothing. I kinda gave a smirk laugh, as if to say Damn, this fool ain’t about nothing. So, when I was about to leave, this girl lunged at me, took her sweaty hand and gripped my face like it was a basketball or something, and tried to push me down. That! was her first and last mistake. I ducked to the right at the same time pushing her hand away, and then I got up into that b***h’s grill locked and loaded; I dotted that eye, drop-kicked her a**, and went straight for that weave; then I gave her about 8 or 9 good solid reasons to never put her hands on me again.” Raven not condoning what Daedai did, says, “Damn Daedai, you got to learn to control your temper.” Daedai arrogantly comes back, “Hey, don’t start no stuff, won’t be no stuff. But you’re right. I am too much of a lady to even think about fighting over some boy.” Teri adds her two cents, saying, “Sure–you-right Daedai, it is beneath real women to be seen fighting over these fools. We got to demand respect in all things, and if he can’t get with that; then he got to go, enough said.” Daedai shouts, “Girl preach!”
