We generally focus on mistakes with negative consequences when we think of the past.?
It's also a common phenomenon that with one mistake, we start going down the rabbit hole of getting stuck on the labyrinth of our mistakes.?
We start remembering every wrong decision, and our confidence begins to shatter.?
Coming out of this maze is essential to our mental well-being because negative thinking can drain our energy significantly.?
Phil Stutz and Barry Michels discuss the concept of a maze in their book "The Tools".?
They say that once we get stuck in the maze of mistakes, we can only get out by focusing on the present and finding what we can do in the future.?
We can only control our actions in the present moment and learn from our past.?
The past mistakes remain a maze until we learn from them and put our learnings into practice.?
Are you stuck in the labyrinth of past mistakes??
What lessons are you learning, and how can you focus on things you can control??
