Leadership defined as "the discipline of getting things done" by "Jack Welch. Effective Leaders invigorate us by their decisiveness.
Is there a Laboratory for leadership discipline? Is there a place that provide an environment where you have tough customers, tough employees, melting chaos, bed-grudging learning center to learn how to make decisions?
Leaders do learn to admire sometime for their leadership skills. I am taking you a moment to a Laboratory - a KIDZEE ( Kids Zone) and asking to observe a babysitter.
How to handle ?
They handle with extreme care. They acknowledge the frustration, They kill angry by kindness, They know the signs when to apologize and when to bring the stick, they know how to bite their tongue. They know how to step away and defend themselves.
How to negotiate?
They know the trick how to do anything by anyone. They make you listen. They understand everyone's need and emotion. They coin the right words at the right time. They know the limit, what to discuss and when to debate. They know how to trade, they know the pros and cons, and they know the alternatives.
How to accomplish?
They know the real game, how to play. They know when to start and stop the game. They know whom to include and exclude. They know each ones capability, ie strength and weaknesses, They know how to conflict and resolve.
How to organise?
They are expert setting up things. They are creators of joy and they enjoy. They know how to quickly set right the mess, they correct mistakes and they fix any broken things. They feel accountable for any chaos. They are hard workers.
How to mentor?
They are role models. They will let us play. They will tolerate mistakes. They know what to teach. They will not ignore faults. They correct when you are wrong. They tell why you are wrong. They know how to deal your clout. They know how to rescue when situation to explode. They create opportunity and environment to grab it.
Is it baby-sitting?!. Its Leadership. Read again!.
No Business School features a laboratory to practice the Leadership skills. One need not be a pass-out from Premier Business Schools to become a Great Leader.
