LAB3 Contract, Item 3, Clause 2.1 Commencement Date: 06/03/2023

What an incredible 12 months it’s been! A little over a year ago, I made the very difficult decision to leave #Microsoft after some of the best years of my career working alongside my favourite Account Exec Claudia Kirk to help our amazing Fed Gov customers to "#AchieveMore". I made the call to add “Fear Less” to the start of the mission statement and joined the #LAB3 crew as a "Client Executive", after about 13 years in technical sales roles. I knew LAB3 as an amazing team of people who believed in “getting things done” and had always done so when I’d worked with them as a Partner. Transitioning from mostly software to mostly services has been challenging, but in a good way. I’ve had a year of learning from some of the best in the industry with plenty of success along the way (and even managed a US trip with AIIA at the end of last year with a bunch of leaders across government and industry). In the last year in Fed Gov we’ve provisioned multiple world-class #SIEM solutions with Microsoft Sentinel (via LAB3's accelerator Security Insight), migrated countless apps across agencies throughout Machinery of Government changes (using Altra #DrMigrate and LAB3 #Bedrock), modernised data platforms and we’re building a mixed PROTECTED/UNCLASSIFIED platform leveraging Microsoft Information Protection just to name a few of our engagements since I arrived.

We’ve also lost a few tenders along the way, which has been an opportunity to learn, grow and remember to keep embracing the “Fear Less” mantra of LAB3 and get back up and have another crack.

Massive thanks to Reuben Bettle , our fearless Fed Gov Director for welcoming me to the LAB3 crew and helping with my transition to the “Client Exec” role. Another big callout to Justin Aylett for being a great mate in the local office (and making me look good). Thanks also to Rhiannon Tunstall for almost lasting the year as my manager and providing some great mentorship and deal guidance along the way!

I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
