?Detailed Job Description below –

What is needed:

• PCI Protocol Analyzer and tools for Signal Integrity, signal tracing knowledge.
• Hands on experience in debugging the problems on servers and related hardware.
• Configuring the hardware (servers) per the definition and check on what’s causing the issue. Analysing the customer issues and reproduce them in the lab.
• Signal frequencies to be well understood. Range of frequencies to be used to test components on a server motherboard.
• Server basic architecture to be known.

?In addition, the successful candidate will have:

• An understanding of functional, integration, system and regression testing
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics and trace signals in PCBs using PCB design file/gerber file viewers.
• Ability to drive/execute systematic, methodical board and system level debug, design of experiments, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with using the Linux shell, scripting languages and low-level programming.
• Experience with debugging and testing voltage regulator modules and associated hardware
• Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and power load tools.
• Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as I2C, JTAG, and SPI
• The ability to understand the high-level architecture of the system, as well as a more detailed understanding of subsystem building blocks.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint
• Knowledge of board hardware and software, design and test methodologies
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools, product lifecycle management tools, and board design tools
• Experience creating test project status reports and metrics, including a Test Dashboard
• Experience researching and documenting bug reports upon discovery of a quality problem.
• A successful track record of working with geographically distributed cross-functional groups.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written skills
