Medical costs for kids' mental health jumped 31% in 5 years
A recent study shows that the cost of caring for a child with a mental health condition in the U.S. increased by almost a third between 2017 and 2021, with families spending an average of $4,361 more annually compared to those without such children. In 2021, American families collectively spent around $31 billion on child mental health services, comprising nearly half (47%) of all child medical spending.?SOURCE: U.S. News, March 11, 2024
Co-use of tobacco products and cannabis is associated with absenteeism and lower grades in California high school students

Pros and cons of allergy immunotherapy for children
