La Pagerie in Carriacou: A Caribbean dream!

A customer, commenting on a stay in last March 2015: "La Pagerie is the most gorgeous french colonial style house in a wonderful situation on a beautiful island just north of Grenada. We approached the villa through gates and drove along a tree lined drive and as soon as I saw the villa I knew it was my dream Caribbean home set amongst bright flowers and trees overlooking the most gorgeous little beach (with a sunbathing platform and outdoor shower.) The house is really one of a kind and the loveliest I have seen in the Caribbean - it has been built using beautiful hardwoods and the outside timber cladding has been painted in a soft pale blue which contrasts with the darker wood and blends in perfectly with the surroundings. The interior furnishings are of a very high quality and it is all extremely tasteful, slightly eclectic and very comfortable. I particularly liked the large kitchen area with its huge fridge and separate larder. The pool area is lovely too with chic sun loungers and dining table. We really enjoyed getting to know this delightful island and some of its excellent restaurants and of course some rum punches on the beach! Bliss!"
