La Ferrari nel cuore - Ferrari at heart
A big book (320 pages and 1,9 Kg) describing Mauro Forghieri's experience in Maranello. He became technical director in 1962 and won several world championships (Formula One and endurance) and races (including 24 hours of Le Mans), having designed (engine and chassis) single seaters (F1, F2, hill-climbing), GTs, Can Ams, four wheel drive (last project after leaving Maranello for Lamborghini) and much more. Forghieri remembers his relationships with Enzo Ferrari, his best team-mates in engineering department (Bussi, Salvarani, Poncini, Rocchi) and in managerial roles (Dragoni, Lini, Montezemolo, Piccinini), several drivers (Alboreto, Amon, Ickx, Lauda, Regazzoni, Surtess, Villeneuve) also using very peculiar internal documentation (e.g. project to install a turbocharged engine in 1977's 312 T2, 3 years before his real introduction in 126 CK).
