LA County should seek help to build an online platform to manage Covid Vaccination

I am delighted to have the chance to share an idea on CBS/KCal9 last night that LA County should develop an online platform to get more people vaccinated. Why? The supply of vaccine is not a bottleneck, and the physical infrastructure (Dodgers Stadium, etc.) is not a bottleneck. The bottleneck is PEOPLE. We need to use an online platform to coordinate people who want to be vaccinated and people who can administer the shot!
We can do it! My colleagues in Supply Chain Management can help voluntarily! LA County can seek help from private companies who have the experience. Examples include Uber, Lyft, Amazon, etc. See my joint article:
Also, the CBS/KCal9 news coverage is below:
Yes Chris, ?Many Supply Chain Experts can help!“ Amazing how actively you represent SCM/Ops in the Covid/vaccination activities in the LA area, and beyond! We see the terrible news with Covid cases on TV also over here in Europe. Please continue to bring your expertise in! Politics does not have. Christopher Tang

4 年I am all in on a standby list. I’d be happy to get a notification at 4pm on any day that remaining vaccine is going to expire and drive anywhere in my county to receive it. What do you think Andrew Cuomo?
