Strategic Senior Project Management Leader | Driving Complex Initiatives & Delivering Results Across Diverse Industries
?? Hello, LinkedIn community! ??
I don’t often share my thoughts, but today I felt compelled to pass on some wisdom that has profoundly shaped my journey. My career began at McDonald's and Best Buy, where I learned invaluable lessons about teamwork and growth.
During my decade at Best Buy, I embraced the company’s core values, which continue to resonate with me today. One of the most impactful tools they used was an acronym that captures these values: LUSH.
- L: Learn from challenge and change
- U: Unleash the power of our people
- S: Show humility, respect, and integrity
- H: Have fun while being the best
As a project manager, I find myself relying on these principles, especially when navigating complex projects. In those challenging moments, focusing on LUSH helps me reset and keep moving forward.
To my Best Buy family—your impact on my life is immeasurable. And to everyone else, I encourage you to reflect on how these simple yet powerful values can guide you in both your professional and personal life.
Remember, the “H” in LUSH is often overlooked, but it’s essential for our well-being. Let’s not forget to have fun on this journey!
Keep shining! ? #Leadership #Growth #Values #Inspiration

1 个月Thanks for sharing, Shiv. Having fun is not only good for the individual, but it contributes to a healthier working environment and team culture. This comes full circle and allows people to feel safe and productive. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, as they say.
