Alright your beautiful humans! It’s almost fall! It’s PATIO TIME! This weeks featured Patio is Lúa Mediterranean and Bottle Shop myself and the food photography master Brandon aka Dwelling Table ventured out to check out some of the best patios in OKC. Today’s feature is Lúa in the Plaza District.
Brandon’s thoughts “What I love about Lúa's patio is that it's casual, cozy, and suitable for both an evening with friends or an intimate meal for two. When you come here, you have to order the Pritchard burger! Though it's only comprised of a bun, patty, cheese, tomato jam, and pickles - it ticks all the boxes. You'll also have to try the watermelon sangria - the perfect summer evening patio beverage we didn't know we needed. The environment here is fun, laid back, and lends itself to a leisurely dining experience to be enjoyed to everyone."
Mike's thoughts “I'm not a huge fan of spicy food so I was a bit skeptical about the Mediterranean vibe but this salad bold was delightful. Ate the whole thing. The burger is the same burger they used to have on the menu when this location was The Pritchard hens the name for the burger. Its a winner and the lamb with mash potatoes reminded me of Wales. As for the patio, that’s why we are here right? The atmosphere was great, really good choice of music on the patio too. That's one thing that helps to set the scene. As the suns setting you want some great music to match the feeling. It worked. The volume of the music was at a perfect level too. We didn't have to shout to have a conversation. All in all a great experience and definitely worth a return visit for a date night with the wife.”
Next week we visit Oso in the Paseo District.
